Aug 16, 2007 The pictures I took reveal experiences, moments, and memories of my existence. Where every press on the shutter is my way of stopping time… Every peek into the viewfinder is an escape from the pressures of life… Every culture learned is food for the brain… Every portrait is another person’s soul… Every landscape is God’s blessing … Every picture processed is a work of art. Welcome to my life… Apr 1, 2011 Represent! 1 Photo, 1 comment

Beat Gongs, Click Cameras on Earth Day ‘09
Thousands of events are being planned worldwide for this year’s observance of Earth Day to heighten awareness to the growing environmental concerns. Locally, the Alay Sa Kalinisan Inc. will spearhead related activities in Baguio that will include an environmental parade, an art activity, a fashion show of recycled materials, poetry reading and musical performances.
According to ASKI executive members Rhoda Fe Buenavista and Art Tibaldo, Session Road will be closed to motorists as approved by Mayor Reinaldo Bautista Jr. on the daytime of April 22 and participants are encouraged to wear symbolic outfits such as hats, bags and vests that will express concern and love for mother earth during the environmental parade.
The parade according to ASKI will start at exactly 8AM from the Baguio Convention Center then to upper and lower Session Road towards the intersection fronting the Center Mall then finally to the People’s Park where participants will converge for a program. Benhur Villanueva, a sculptor who now resides in Baguio will lead children in transforming Session Road into a big canvass for art expression. Colored chalks will be made available by the ASKI for those who would want to paint Baguio’s famous road. A Baguio artist himself, Tibaldo said that many people are sick and tired of listening to car horns, police whistles or sirens and It won’t be much of a disturbance if we occupy Session Road for a day to just beat gongs, tap cans and listen to visions of children and let politicians listen if they would care to.
Expected to join the parade to be led by ASKI are civic and volunteer groups, various schools, the Benguet Electric Cooperative, SM Baguio, NGOs, DENR, City of Baguio, the reservists and other stakeholders and environmentalists such as the Baguio Photographers Club. (ASKI press release)
